The project explored fragmented reading experiences in digital ecosystem. Because of which the reading experience has become ubiquitous and diffused, but also fragmented and casual.
But with the digital technology also some other behaviours have been influenced: from the action of tweeting - “I’ve finished reading” - when reaching the end of a book, to the public highlighting of quotes and sentences, to the immediate sharing of comments and impressions on social media platforms. The nature of reading has changed, from being an individual and emotional activity, to becoming a social and communicative action. Personal and mobile tools, while keeping us connected, permit us also to easily share.
